More about Wordle

How Word works

Word is a vocabulary game in which players have six attempts to guess a five-letter word. Once you enter a guess, the individual letters within the word you entered will appear in different colors. Each color has a different meaning.

  • Green: the letter entered is 100% correct: the correct letter in the correct space.
  • Yellow – The letter entered is in the correct word, but you placed it in the wrong space.
  • Grey: The letter entered is not used in the response.

The goal is to guess the correct word in as few tries as possible.
