Track Covid-19 Vaccines by State

A two-dose vaccine, developed by the US drugmaker Pfizer and the German firm BioNTech, was the first authorized by the Food and Drug Administration for emergency use. The first shipments were made on December 1. December 14, 2020. A second vaccine, which was developed by Moderna and also requires two doses, began shipping vials on December 14. 20, 2020.

On February 27, 2021, the FDA granted emergency use authorization for Johnson & Johnson’s one-dose Janssen vaccine.
