Taylor Swift announces new album, Midnights, for October 21

Taylor Swift has pissed us off enough. After months of teasing, and I mean monthsI was ready to take on my clown makeup as the final moments of the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards came to an end. But at the last minute (and after being out of your seat for over an hour,) Swift made a special announcement while accepting her Video of the Year award for “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)”: she will release her new album, midnighton October 21, officially closing the Red (Taylor Version) it was. The album cover shows Swift in bright eye makeup and cat eyeliner, holding a lighter. “Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights spread throughout my life, will be out on October 21. Meet me at midnight,” Swift wrote. Instagram. she described the new songs on Twitter are written “in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams.” Sleep soundly, Swifties. The next era has arrived.
