Fetterman’s explanation for why he’s against voter ID sounds a bit racist – RedState

The more Pennsylvania voters see John Fetterman, the more they will realize that he is not the person they want to represent them because he has so many issues and his views are so extreme.

Fetterman lived off his parents into his mid-forties, without having a job that paid for his own support. He also attacked the energy industry, a vital industry in Pennsylvania, calling for fracking to be banned in the past.

As we reported earlier, he has some very worrying views on criminals. He was previously asked if he could wave a magic wand and fix one thing, what he came up with was ending life without parole for killers. Imagine someone replying that if you could fix one thing in the whole world. On top of that, he said that he agreed that if a third of all inmates got out of jail, that wouldn’t endanger anyone. That is clueless beyond belief.

But now his explanation of why he’s against voter ID is just a little bit racist, if not ignorant. Fetterman says he opposes voter ID laws because “poor people and people of color are less likely to have their ID at any given time.”

He goes on here to say he’s “horrified” about it because it will negatively affect people of color.

Why do Democrats like Fetterman think people of color can’t get an ID? It is an insulting and ridiculous statement. And apparently, if you’re poor, you can’t figure things out either. You need an ID for everything from driving to even getting vaccinated (Democrats don’t seem to object to requiring an ID for that). But it prevails among people on the left. Listen as some of the people in this video explain their thinking and it just screams propaganda and ignorance.

People all over the world must have ID to vote and protect themselves against cheating, but only Democrats in this country seem to have a problem with that and make nonsensical arguments against it.

In a survey last year, 74 percent of Pennsylvanians said voters should be required to show ID at the polls, 81 percent also want signature verification. So Fetterman is once again an extremist on this issue when you look at what most people in Pennsylvania think.

I’m thinking maybe it’s not the best way to get people to vote for you when you insult them like that.

Just a reminder, Fetterman is the same guy who pulled a shotgun on a black racer back in 2013.
